Asymmetric Thin-Shell Wormholes

摘要

In a thin-shell wormhole the mirror symmetry of the embedding diagram can bebroken by considering different sources on different sides of the throat.Stability analysis of such an asymmetric thin-shell wormhole is considered andcompared with the symmetric ones. Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m, Schwarzschild, cosmicstring and even the Minkowski spacetimes provide good test beds for the idea.Our overall finding summarizes as: the more symmetric a wormhole, the morestable it is.
